People who have allergies to certain plants such as goldenrod or ragweed sometimes think that they should avoid essential oils.
Here’s the truth:
Essential oils cannot be allergens or contain allergens.
Why is that?
Well, assuming that you are using only Young Living Therapeutic Grade Oils, not some cheap adulterated oil that you bought at a health food store or the internet, here is what I would tell you:
You cannot be allergic to an essential oil because essential oils do not contain proteins.
Why is that you ask?
Well, when a plant is distilled, the proteins do not come across in the oil that is created in the 
distillation process.
