Do you really know what is in your toothpaste, deoderant, shampoo, body lotion?
If you are buying your personal care products from the supermarket, the drug store, or even the health food store, you might want to check the labels.
Here’s just a few of the
toxic ingredients to watch out for:
Aluminum in deodorant, antacids is linked to Alzheimer’s disease
DEA in soaps, lotions, cosmetics is a suspected carcinogen
Propylene Glycol is implicated in dermatitis, kidney damage and liver abnormalities
Sodium Fluoride in toothpaste is a toxic by-product from the production of aluminum
Talc in baby and body powders is similar to asbestos, and is linked to ovarian cancer
