Have You Tried the Vita Flex Roller?

October 7th, 2010

The Vita Flex Roller is a foot and body massager that imitates the pressure point therapy of Vita Flex Technique developed by Stanley Burroughs in the late 1920′s.

It is based on the principle that by activating a pressure point, another part of the body may be affected.

If you use the vita flex roller after an essential oil session, you will notice a marked enhancement.

First apply essential oils to the bottom of the feet.

Next, roll the feet over theVita Flex Roller or Relax a Roller for 30-60 seconds.

Repeat almost anywhere on the body, cushioning bony areas with a towel. If the feet are too sensitive at first, pull a tube sock over one end of the roller.

Emotional Stress Gone After Raindrop Treatment

March 20th, 2010

After her first Raindrop Technique session, this is what Nicole H. had to say:

“It has been a couple of days since the treatment.

I still had some pain in my wrists – but I think it spread less than it usually does…..

The biggest and best change I found was my emotional state.

Before the treatment I had been struggling with the emotional stress of having a sick family member and I was exhausted.

Afterward and even now I feel very stable, I found my sense of humor again and I felt like I could take on whatever the world would throw at me.

THANK YOU!”

Business Showcase

November 17th, 2009

Here we are tonight at the 11th annual Showcase of Women in Business at the

Lethbridge Lodge Hotel. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our

exhibit to comment on how good it smelled in our corner of the room.

We were located right next to the piano player at the front door,

so how could anyone miss us!

Dan Lewis was busy for 4 hours discussing the blissful benefits of Raindrop

Technique and handing out anti aging surveys. If you didn’t get one,

let me know and i will email it to you.

And me, well I had people on my massage table pretty steady too. Everyone seemed to be loving the new Neuro-Auricular Technique.  If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?  Showcase

Neuro-Auricular Technique F.A.Q.

November 8th, 2009

Neuro-Auricular Technique

NAT is deisgned to awaken and restore full capacity to the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglion at the base of the brain and to connect all of the synapses of the brain and upper spinal cord. It can also be used for emotional release.

Q. How did the name come about?

A. D. Gary Young coined the term at the Nova Vita Clinic in Ecuador in 2007. The practitioner uses an  “auricular” probe, a small glass rod with a tapered end. The original purpose of the glass rod was to place oils precisely on reflex points of the ear.

Q. How many variations are there?

A. Gary Young has taught at least 3 versions of Neuro-Auricular Technique. Versions 1 and 2 use an auricular probe to apply oils along the occipital ridge (base of the skull) and cervical vertebrae of the spine (back of neck). Version 3 uses Young Living’s new essential oil rolls ons.

Q. What is the theory and purpose of NAT?

A. The purpose of the Neuro-Auricular Technique (NAT) is to jump-start and reconnect all of the synapses of the brain and upper spine, particularly in the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglia.

NAT focuses on the occipital ridge, particularly the medulla (center depression at base of skull) and along the 7 vertebra of the spine between the skull and shoulders that comprise the neck).

Q. What are some of the oils that are used and why?

A.    Frankincense is mostly monoterpenes for balancing and reprogramming. Valerian, Vetiver, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood are all mostly sesquiterpenes for oxygenating the brain and ganglia and to delete misinformation at the level of cellular DNA. Roman Chamomile is mostly esters for emotional release.

Q. What is the locus ceruleus and why is it so important?

A.    The locus ceruleus is a mass of 1000 highly pigmented nerves at the base of the brain. “Locus” means location. Ceruleus means sky blue. The locus ceruleus is the central switching station of the body. Every nerve impulse controlling voluntary muscles and organs passes through the master control station.

NAT helps to make sure this vital nerve junction is fully functioning along with the rest of the brain.

The locus ceruleus or medulla is also the portal through which the vital life energy flows into your body.

Q. What does the vagus nerve do?

A.    The vagus nerve is the largest of the twelve cranial nerves.  “Vagus,” means “wanderer” because it wanders throughout the organs of the throat, chest, and abdomen. It is directly wired to the brain and spinal nerves .

The vagus nerve regulates heartbeat, is involved in release of tears, controls digestion and peristalsis, production of hormones, control of sphincter muscles, ovarian and uterine function, prostate function, and sexual response.

Q. Can NAT help with neurological conditions?

A.    NAT is designed to restore normal vagus nerve function and locus ceruleus function. If you are suffering from any type of stress condition, give Neuro Auricular Technique a try!Brain
