Peppermint for Hot Flashes

Young Living’s Peppermint is a must have oil for every home.

Bernadette G. has this to say about peppermint essential oil:

“Peppermint helped me so much in dealing with hot flashes. I would apply a drop or two to the back of my neck, and it would absorb the hot flash.”

Another woman said that her husband snores so much that he keeps her awake at night. One night she put some peppermint oil on his pillow and his snoring just about stopped.

Labor Preparation

Here are some suggestions for using Young Living Essential oils during the last two weeks before giving birth. These protocols are from Linda Smith’s Clinical Aromatherapy Student Notebook.

Suggested oils are: Clary sage, rose, sage, fennel

Massage twice daily. Sage and fennel with strengthen the womb and Braxton Hicks contractions.

Blend for use during labor:

4 drops helichrysum

2 drops fennel

2 drops peppermint

5 drops ylang ylang

2 drops clary sage

Topically apply diluted 50-50 and massage 2-4 drops on reproductive vita flex points on sides of ankles.

Apply only after labor has started.

Also massage 4-6 drops on lower stomach and lower back.

Inhale or diffuse Gentle Baby, Joy or Valor to reduce stress before and after the birth. This will also be helpful for the expectant father.

What is Hypothyroidism?

Hypothyroidism is a condition in which there is insufficient thyroid hormone, a weak thyroid or a lack of iodine or tyrosine in the body.

Sometimes a weak thyroid is actually strong but the pituitary is malfunctioning. this causes the thyroid to malfunction as well.
